Norscot CAT D7E Bulldozer

The D7E is unique in the fact that it use electric drives instead of hydraulic's like most heavy earth movers. It's also does not use the now familiar track arrangement of the CAT dozer but a more conventional layout.

This is my first CAT model that I bough this year and it's a very welcome addition to my construction collection. Looks particular nice next to my D8 and I think if I get the opportunity to buy a D6 I'll go for it.

What do I like most about this model? I think the engine cover mesh is a nice touch, the tracks are real like and the GPS pole on the nose is cool.

Not much smaller than the D8

Hot Wheels Ferrari F430 Challange - #102 Team Modena

Always wanted a F430 and what better one than a racing version of the magnificent car. I just love the detail on this car, from all the sponsorship logos on the car right too the the seats that's made with real cloth.

The Ferrari Challenge is a very exclusive racing series organized since 1993 over 6 meetings with two 40-minute races per meeting. In 2007 the European series and the Italian series were split in two distinct series: the Trofeo Pirelli for the more experienced racers (being semi-pros) and the Coppa Shell for the gentleman drivers (amateur class).

This 1:18th model reproduces the F430 Challenge – Team Modena #102 which won the European Title in 2006!

Hot Wheels Ferrari 456

This model is a disappointment, when I tried to open the door it broke of because of the brittle medal that was used. The paint job is really shocking, the paint on the doors are cracking and on the roof and bonnet are clear signs of over sprays. The Hot Wheels quality controller surely was sick the day this model was made :-(

Really sorry because the 456 is a beautiful car that deserves better.
