Kyosho Lamborghini Countach LP500S Walter Wolf

Few cars have such icon status as the Lamborghini Countach. It was the car that featured on most boys bedroom walls during the 70's and 80's. Designed not to be anyway practical but purely for looks and performance the Countach introduced a new standard by which super cars would be measured.

My model is one of the Walter Wolf cars. Wolf had Lamborghini build him three special Countach cars, the first one was red followed by two blue cars. Both Autoart and Kyosho have blue models but the mirrors on the cars are different. The Autoart has round gold mirrors and the Kyosho blue aero dynamic mirrors. I belief the Autoart model is car #2 and Kyosho car #3.

The model ticks all the boxes, the detail inside and on the outside is perfect and the I found nothing wrong with the paint job or any of the details. If you are sport car model collector this is one car which model you need to have in your collection.

Bburgo Lamborgini Aventador

The Lamborghini Aventador is currently one of the apex super cars, maybe not as fast a Veyron (350 vs 400 km/h) but definitely up there with the Ferrari's. One thing about  Lamborghini's I like is how good they look in bright colors, A yellow or lime green Lamborghini's just looks good, the same as the orange one, few other cars can do that.

I got the Bburgo really cheap so I did not expect much but surprisingly it was not too bad. Okay the detail may not be as good as Autoart or so but still interior looks good and because the engine is mostly covered by plastic panels you in any case see not going to see much detail in the engine bay. Outside also descend details like the brakes.

All in all a nice 'entry' model.

Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster

The Murcielago must surely be a contender for one of the most beautiful super cars ever made, plus  what also sets it apart from a lot of other super cars is that it's powered by a V12. I can't think of any other manufacture that has a mid engine production V12 car. The likes of Ferrari, Aston Martins, Mercedes all got front engine V12 cars.

Less that 900 roadsters where build between 2004 and 2010 as LP 640's and LP 650's. The engine size is 6496 cc developing between 471 kW and 478 kW depending on model. Top speed is 330 km/h with zero to 100 km/h taking around 3.4 seconds.

This model is from Maisto's Special Edition collection, scale 1:18. What impressed me most was the detail on the underside showing the exhaust, gearbox etc.

What I love about this car: The nose on car is stunning and the back not also not bad to look at.

Nice sleek lines

Nice Interior, note this is a manual shift, no fancy paddle shift.

Those twin exhaust in the centre looks very good

The engine is a typical of a modern day car, lots of plastic hiding the details

Butterfly doors

Nice underside details of the gear box and exhaust piping

Bburago Lamborghini Sesto Elemnto

The Lamborghini Sesto Elemnto was developed by Lamborghini exclusively for the race track. This is a 1:24 Lamborghini Sesto Elemnto from Burago. What's interesting is that Lamborghini only plan to make 20 and will only deliver them next year (2013). The Sesto Elemnto will do 0 - 100 km/h in only 2.6 sec!

Maisto Lamborghini Reventon

The Reventon fits in somewhere between the Murcielago and Aventador. Only like 20 was build and that makes them uber expensive. This one is a1:24 scale from Maisto.

Maisto Lamborghini Aventador

The successor to the Murcielago and also must better looking. This is a 1:24 Lamborghini Aventador from Maisto.

Maisto Lamborghini Gallardo

A 1:24 Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera from Burago. Don't it look just super sexy in the orange. The Gallardo might be the "poor mans" Lambo but it's one of my favorite sport cars.

Maisto Lamborghini Murcielago

Not my favorite  Lamborghini or model but this one was for the collection. A 1:24 Lamborghini Murcielago from Maisto.
