Diecast Masters CAT D6 XE

Another excellent model from Diecast Masters from it's High Line range. The D6XE is mid size dozer weighing around 24 tons from Caterpillar with electric drive.

Unique to this model is the bars extending from the cab to the front like you would find in a forest configured machine.

Nice little details include the foldable ladder allowing access to the fuel tank cap.

One critique I have is that you need to fit the rippers yourself. I could not manage to get them in place so for no this dozer is without rippers.

The D6 fits nicely on the low bed ready to be moved to next construction site. A lot of contractors prefer to use more than one smaller machine that can be transported more easily than one large machine.

A size comparison between the D6 & D7E which is roughly 2 tons heavier.

With the roof removed you can see how much detail Diecast Masters have put into the interior. Amazing, even got could cup holders.

Notice the aircon fans and the curved excuse pipe.

Compared against a D10T, 82 tons vs 22 tons.

Diecast Masters CAT 150

The CAT 150 is a medium size motor grader from Caterpillar. Almost identical in size to the 140, both having 3.7 meter blades, weighing in at almost 19 tons with a 136 kW engine. The 150 however is 6x6 (AWD) while the 140 is a 6x4 drive.

Nice thing about this model is the GPS for accurate cutting.

I'm not sold on the wheel arches.

Like most other High Line models the interior is highly detailed. See the CAT logo on the seat.

Fully functional rippers.

Compared against the 14M the 150 is slightly smaller. The 14M got a 4.2 meter moldboard against the 150's 3.7 m and weigh is 26 tons vs 19 tons.

Even in the model the cab view is excellent.

Loaded and ready to be moved.
