Diecast Masters CAT 150

The CAT 150 is a medium size motor grader from Caterpillar. Almost identical in size to the 140, both having 3.7 meter blades, weighing in at almost 19 tons with a 136 kW engine. The 150 however is 6x6 (AWD) while the 140 is a 6x4 drive.

Nice thing about this model is the GPS for accurate cutting.

I'm not sold on the wheel arches.

Like most other High Line models the interior is highly detailed. See the CAT logo on the seat.

Fully functional rippers.

Compared against the 14M the 150 is slightly smaller. The 14M got a 4.2 meter moldboard against the 150's 3.7 m and weigh is 26 tons vs 19 tons.

Even in the model the cab view is excellent.

Loaded and ready to be moved.

Diecast Masters CAT D10T

I love a nice dozer and my latest model is no disappointment. My first model from Diecast Masters. This is a Core Classic version of the CAT D10, one of Caterpillars largest dozers.

Compared against D11 the D10 is smaller but less than expected. FIY this D11 was one of my first CAT models many years ago.

Need to get the D10 to the worksite. The 3 axle trailer is a bit small but will have to do.

The D10 is often called in to give the scrapers a helping push.

First Gear Peterbilt 367 Dump Truck with Trailer

This is my first dump truck. In South Africa we see mostly cabover trucks so this cab behind Peterbilt is something special.

I really like the red body but not sure about the white at the back.

My Peterbilt come with a trailer but unfortunately the trailer hook is broken.

Today we have CB-534 Compactor on the trailer because we going to do some paving.

The trailer have nice ramps for each off load, wonder if in real life it will be able to take the weigh of the roller?

Feeding the paver with asphalt.

The sides of the truck is just too high for the my CAD 950 too reach over.

First Gear Komatsu D51PX

I'm very existed about my first Komatsu model and my first one from First Gear.

Interesting this model does not have a ripper at the back but a winch. Something you don't often see on the Norscot / Diecast Master models.

I like the small detail like the aerial on the roof and mesh before the windows.

The Komatsu is more the same same size as a CAT D6, both are just over the 12 tons. Unfortunately I don't have a D6  for comparison so I've put it next to my CAT D5.
