Hot Wheels Elite Ferrari 458 GT2 - #89 Team Farnbacher

This is my third Le Mans Ferrari, I also have a 365 GTB4 and F40 in my collection. The 458 GT2 is one of my most aggressive looking Ferrari's in my collection, maybe only rivaled by the F12.

There are so much that I like about this car, the interior I think is very nice and also outside advertising details are top notch. In some reviews they complain that the engine looks plastic but I can't say the same.

For some the paint schema might look dull compared with some of the other HWE 458 GT2's available but it grows on you and is something different from the normal red deliveries.

Mean looking

One of the best detailed HWE cockpits I seen so far.

Italia, GT2 and Spider. Three of the same but not the same.

Hot Wheels Elite Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano - Panamerica 20000

Panamerica 20,000 - As part of the 2006 launch of the new 599 GTB, Ferrari used a pair of 599's (red and blue) to take a 20 000 road trip from Rio to New York. The trip was divided into 15 stages and took 84 days to complete crossing thru 16 countries. The 2 cars was stock standard apart from some extra under body protection and a little raised high.

What I love about my 599 GTB HWE is the graphic's on this car, the white on blue looks great. Inside the car details is also very good and in the boot it even has two suite cases. All round a very nice addition to my collection.

Hot Wheels Ferrari F2008

I bought this Ferrari F2008 becuase it was like my Renault R26 and other Ferrari F2004 a car that won the Constructors Championship with a #1 on the nose. The F2008 won 8 out of it's 18 races, 6 belonging to Massa in the #2 car and 2 to Raikonen in the #1 car.

Another reason I like this car is the color, not the traditional Ferrari red but rather a metallic color that suites it very nicely.

Hot Wheels Renault R26

The R26 is my first Renault so this something new for me. After my Ferrari F2002 I though it would be nice to see if I can get another F1 championship car with a #1 on the nose. Not many of those around apart from the Ferrari's, Red Bulls and now Merc's.

The R26 was the follow up of the R25 which was the championship car of the 2005 season. The R26 provide to be more successful that the R25 and won 8 out of the 18 race during the 2006 season which gave Fernado Alonso his second championship crown.

Hot Wheels Ferrari F2002

Something different from the usual. This must be one of the most famous and successful of all Ferrari's and driven by the man that won more F1 titles than any one else. This car won 14 out of the 15 races during the 2002 season and overall 15 out of 19 it raced in. It also recorded 11 pole positions and 15 fastest laps.

The HW racing version might have less detail than the HWE version but what makes it special is you have Michael Schumacher behind the wheel.

Bburago Ferrari LaFerrari

So after a long time wondering if I must by the HW or HWE LaFerrari I decided rather to be cheap and buy the Bburago. At half the price of a HW foundation model it's a bargain. The model is not perfect with the two flaws standing out. One is the gap where the front wheel arch flows into the side, a gap as big as the Grand Canyon (picture 4). The second one is the back wheels, they are missed aligned because the wheels are not connected by a solid axle (picture 8). The rest of the model is nicely done, the engine is well detailed and I found no paint mistakes. In summary for what you pay for this is a good model.
